My love for healing and the natural world has been with me since I was a four-year-old shepherd in the mountains of Shuafat, my beloved village. It was there, among the wild beauty of Jerusalem’s mountains, that I first learned to recognize the myriad types of plants and herbs that flourish in this ancient land. The hills, bathed in golden sunlight and the songs of birds, were my first classroom, and nature itself was my teacher. The scent of wild thyme, the sight of sage growing in rocky crevices, and the taste of fresh mint were all part of my daily life, and they sparked a lifelong passion within me.

But it is my mother to whom I owe the deepest gratitude. She was, and still is, my greatest teacher in the art of healing. Her vast knowledge of plants, herbs, and traditional remedies has been passed down through generations, and it is this invaluable inheritance that I bring to you through our shop. Her wisdom, gathered from her own mother and the women before her, is woven into every aspect of what we offer. From the way we select our herbs to the care we take in preparing our blends, her influence is present in everything we do.
